I can’t think of anything more revealing (or embarrassing) as hearing yourself clearly through studio speakers after months of loud repetitious music in a rehearsal room. The demo recording process is often too quick and rarely do you sound as cool as you thought you did.

Still, you gotta make ‘em, and I’m glad ours are done.

After setting up equipment and playing all the songs and we were walking away after 6 hours with this rough mix. This is recorded LIVE with a little bit of overdubbing.
