/// Demos. I hate making them. Probably it’s the demo recordings that are the death to most bands. I can’t think of anything more revealing (or embarrassing) as hearing yourself clearly through studio speakers after months of loud repetitious music in a rehearsal room. The demo recording process is often too quick and rarely do you sound as cool as you thought you did.
Still, you gotta make ‘em, and I’m glad ours are done.
Here are some fresh songs The SHIT recorded in an afternoon by Laurent Burki in Neuchâtel on the 19th of March, 2011. 100% pure demo quality. After setting up equipment and playing all the songs and we were walking away after 6 hours with this rough mix. This is recorded LIVE with a little bit of overdubbing. No effects, no automated mixing, no mute buttons, just THE SHIT how we sound. Mastered to sound explosive on your kitchen radio.
Let us know if you dig our new SHIT…
